The ODIS Steering Group met on 22–23 July 2026, in two virtual sessions, to review progress on its ongoing work and prepare for the upcoming IODE-29 meeting. The agenda covered updates from the two Task Teams established earlier in the year: one on Communications & Operations, and one on Technical Support to ODIS. The agenda also included a discussion on the development of a future ODIS Helpdesk to support National Oceanographic Data Centres (NODCs) and Associated Data Units (ADUs). The group also discussed preparations for IODE-29, including a background document on ODIS and a review of the Steering Group’s Terms of Reference.
